The Bissing Link - The Collections and Network of Egyptologist F. W. von Bissing (1873–1956)

The Egyptologist and collector Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Bissing (1873–1956) accumulated the largest private collection of ancient Egyptian and Sudanese objects by using his extensive Egyptological, academic and political network. This publication aims to further reveal this network and reconstruct the collection.
