Frank Oliver Dreams of Amiskwaciwaskahikan

Frank Oliver Dreams of Amiskwacîwâskahikan is the debut collection from Edmonton-based poet and performer Daniel Poitras. Sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes brazenly satirical, these poems bring together dark humour and blunt truths about colonialism, racism, and intergenerational trauma with an unmistakable tenderness underlying them all.

A member of the Paul First Nation, Daniel Poitras shines in this debut collection.
